Battlefield Tour Guides, Military Historians, Authors and Academics on the battlefield to explain exactly what happened in the key areas of the battlefield. These are the team currently leading the research into the battle and they are at the forefront of current analysis of the battle of 1645.

If you are taking part in the sponsored marches (both are 6 miles) you will be given access to areas of the battlefield not previously opened and this will include walking the full length of the infantry lines. See the how the land lies, and what impact the ground might have had on the battle.

If you are a musketeer we will give you three opportunities to fire volleys on the battlefield at ROC View Point, at Sulby Hedges and at The Cromwell Monument right in the thick of the fighting in 1645.
