Hammond's Officers have accrued over 150 years in the Regiment!
When you realise that we have that level of experience you can understand why you may not be able to walk in and take up one of these important roles. Experience counts. It means that you can be properly looked after in a battlefield scenario.
There are two grades of Officers in the Regiment - Commissioned Officers, and Non-commissioned Officers. Those officers that hold a commission are The Commanding Officer, and the Pike and Musket Officers. The rest of the officer corps are non-commissioned officers. However, we all have the regiment's best interests at heart, and will all work tirelessly to achieve the very best for the regiment and its members. We have a very democratic way of running the regiment, and everyone is encouraged to get involved in the organisation of the regiment and its activities.
