Hammond's are proud members of
The Cittie of London Brigade

Hammond's chose to join the Cittie of London Brigade. We have established a strong working relationship with the other regiments in the brigade, and the Royalist Army are always very aware of where The Cittie of London Brigade are positioned in an army array!

Picture
Our fellow regiments in the brigade are The Tower Hamlet's Trayned Bandes, The Blew Regiment of the London Trayned Bandes, Colonel Sammuel Jones' Regiment of Foote, The Earl of Essex's Regiment of Foote, Sir Arthur Hazlerigg's Companie, with Colonel Robert Hammond's making the brigade six units strong.

We have adopted the idea of integrating Hammond's into the Brigade, and our pre-1645 persona is that of The White Auxiliaries of the Cittie of London - which by good fortune shares the same colour as Hammond's Regiment. We will be exploring what this means in the years to come, and will be presenting ourselves as a Trayned Bande wherever relevant. We know that the Auxiliaries didn't have a glorious military career providing mostly garrison duties, but at the end of the day we still have the glorious reputation of Hammond's Regiment to fall back upon!
