Gentlemen
We are very proud to have a fine preacher in our regiment, who keeps us his sinning flock, on the straight and narrow. There are lots of other roles that can be developed as a gentleman in Colonel Robert Hammond's Regiment.
We are looking for gentlemen to portray wider roles in the Living History side of the regiment. Our Preacher is a fine example - he even comes on the battlefield with the troops and harangues us and the enemy for the sinners that we are! The public love him, and he's never happier than spotting a sinner that needs to be purged, offering fire and brimstone for their benefit.
You might have another role that you would like to explore. We welcome all ideas, and you should discuss what you have in mind with the Camp and Baggage Master to make sure that it fits in with the profile of the camp we are trying to present. If you would prefer to fit into the military side of life, we have a list of Camp roles that an organised regiment would need, from clerks to quartermasters, and beggars to merchants, so you might choose to take on one of those roles, and stay at the camp rather than take part on the battlefield.
Why not bring some of your character to Hammond's portrayal of a seventeenth century regiment?
