Mini-Battles & Skirmishes
At Brigade strength on each side we enjoy these smaller events,
which require flexibility and imaginative responses to unusual situations.
At these small events we usually end up mixed up with members of other regiments, which is great fun. We also get asked to do all sorts of things that are out of the ordinary, to mark a particular event or anniversary. The units get mixed up on each side, and we all enjoy the camaraderie of fighting with different groups. It also gives the opportunity for our officers to either command new troops, or to have the day off and revert to the ranks. Often these can be the best type of events to attend.
